Located in Far Rockaway, Queens, Edgemere Farm is a year-round space for market gardeners and farmers looking to grow and sell their produce in New York City. Edgemere provides the infrastructure (cultivable land, shared soil amendments, a market setting, area farm-to-restaurant sales channels) in order for young farm businesses to establish themselves in a neighborhood where there is a great need for fresh produce.

Nutshell Projects consulted on the project conception, co-drafted outreach and marketing content, and assisted with the recruitment of growers for the inaugural growing year.
